We're for Jess Gomes in Spell x Outland Denim
All our collab dreams have come true
If there was ever a collab that could make our hearts sing, it would be the ‘70s inspired capsule collection released by purpose-driven labels Spell and Outland Denim.
It’s the first of what the brands say is a long term denim design partnership, showcasing the power of a collaborative approach with the hope of disrupting the fashion industry.
“We’ve spent the past three years mapping our supply chain, and denim has been difficult to source ethically – working with Outland, a brand which exists to eliminate exploitation, while also using less natural resources and chemicals in its Cambodian facilities – we’ve been introduced to an entirely new standard of supply chain transparency and responsibility,” says Spell co-founder Elizabeth Abegg.
“During a time where partnerships are integral to creating real change, we are so proud of this collaboration.”
The 5-piece, ’70s inspired collection is designed to empower
The 5-piece collection was made in Outland Denim’s stand-alone production and finishing facilities in Cambodia, featuring 100 per cent organic cotton, vegan materials and the use of water and energy saving technologies.
“We have a lot of respect for what Spell has created in a brand and, as an extension of that, a community where women can connect”, says Outland Denim CEO James Bartle.
The Outland Denim x Spell collaboration will be available for purchase on May 7 from both websites.
